Default Level Kit- which is best?

Hey guys, I'm new to Ford! Just got a 06 f150 Xlt 4.6L 2wd after totaling my 05 tundra. anyways, the first thing I'm looking to do is of course add a level kit to get ride of that rake! My level kit on my tundra was some off eBay and was called "Supreme Suspension" (which by the way had no problems with). Anhways, Im wanting to do. 2.5" just to make it level, or even slight nose high.
So.. Which brand do you suggest for the strut spacers (no plastics) and also which brand is best for the struts/shocks? I'm very aware of Bilstien and have heard great things about them along with the rancho quick lift. If you guys could give me your input that would be great, also a picture of your truck with the brand of lift and size tires would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!

I did front and rear, but the front are the only ones that provide any lift. I got a smoking deal on mine, but I wanna say the fronts usually run 120 each.....and backs about 95 a peice

I have been actively researching this as well. I know the bilsteins are great from my Toyota days but I have read mixed reviews about them having a harsh ride on the f150s, because of that I think im going to try the Rancho Quick lift loaded.

I've heard that too, but in my opinion it rides great. I worked at 4 wp as a tech & service mgr for 9 years and not once that I can remember got a complaint about either bilstein or ranchos. Their both good and do the job they claim.

If your looking for just a front spacer style leveling kit you cant go wrong with AutoSpring. There cheap and good quality, have installed about 3 dozen of them and never had a issue with any of them.

If you want a full replacement coilover, my suggestion is F150Lifts.com Boss Coilovers.

Yeah they we're great for the toyota. OP if you are interested in the Rancho or Bilsteins then check out PCS Custom automotive. The ranch is there are 500 for all 4. Have free shipping and Rancho has a 126$ rebate until June. That's 374 for the entire set! Which is an excellent deal.

If I get the ranchos or bilsteins, will it raise it so there's no rake? Or will it be slightly below "leveled"

Mine measured dead level with the bilstein. I wanted a small rake, back being a little lower so I bought a shackle that dropped it an inch. Love how it sits on 35's now.
