The driveshaft came loose because the rearend got ripped out. I put some pics with bed off. It tore the shocks in half and broke the leaf springs, which were also ripped loose. The rearend on the driver's side was bent to 45 degree angle.
I have always had a Ford. My first truck was '73 F100. I will never own anything else after this. The frames are strong and it could have a lot worse.

ya looks like it held up good, damn so she hit your drivers side? look like she hit right where the wheel and the back of the cab are and pushed the whole rearend assembly to the passenger side

Here's my new (to me) 2007 FX4. The truck is stock for now, but I plan on doing the Gryphon, a drop in filter, and a cat back exhaust. I was under the truck last night looking at it and I can't believe how bad the midpipe necks down just before the muffler. This is my 2nd FX4, I previously owned an 03. This one is much more comfortable. This truck has factory nav, power folding mirrors, and a sunroof. I live in Tulsa, OK.
As soon as the weather warms up some I am going to clay bar, polish, seal, and wax it.
