I am just starting my blackout project on my '05 screw FX4 however I think that I'm not going to completely black everything out but let's say I plan on dulling down some of the shine with black accents. I'll post some pics along the way but wanna see what everyone else has done. So let's see those pics!

Oh and any color truck with a blackout styling is ok. Mine is a dark blue truck with a growing amount of black mods. Here's my black rims. My nerf bars and bull bar is off right now for the prep work for covering in bed liner. Next will be the fender flares and bed rail caps to get the bed liner coating.

It's been raining here every day so a little muddy! Yay!

Oh I have that amount of black on mine too except for the main paint but I like the midnight blue better.

If your gonna follow your own you still have all of you badges to black out decal should be swapped or just pulled the chrome studs on the rims should be painted. I'm just saying... See I'm going for what you have now tastefully blacked I am going to black out a lot of stuff too just not everything such as badges and decals etc.

I have thought about doing the emblems too I just haven't pulled the trigger on it... I have thought about using the Black Chrome spray from duplicolor..

I'd try plastidip first just so you can see how you like it. Nice looking truck other than the Georgia sticker haha

 

Hey Black fx2, not to try and jack the thread but how do you like your halos? Been thinking about getting some spyders.

 

And yet, your bed decals are RED

 

mine aren't spyders, anything like spyder or recon or anza you won't be able to see during the day (not to hate I actually looked at them first) these are harley style headlights with Oracle SMD halos inside of them

 

Nice, how are they at night compared to stock?
