I'd be curious to see how these look at night. Looking for something crazy bright.

I got some RECON smoke LED taillights last year, and LOVE the way they look on my black F150. Found out last night that 2 of the LED's on the passenger side are not lit anymore. Really looks like crap to me now. I haven't had a chance to really investigate in whether its a bad circuit board or loose connection. Either way, its probably not an easy fix and more of a hassle than I'm going to want to deal with. If I have to, I will just replace with the stock Red taillights and I won't be wasting anymore money on these LED lights. I was under the impression that they are more durable and longer lasting than conventional, but I spent $200 to find out that if and when they do go bad, they'll just look junk. Probably end up just tinting out the stock tails and calling it a day.

^^ Sorry to hear that, have you tried calling their customer service department? I had a similar issue with a 3rd brake light and they replaced at no charge nor made me send the old one back.....

Nah I haven't. For starters I got them off EBAY over a year ago so they won't replace anything I have. Also I need to clarify, the taillights I got are actually SPYDER.

I got you, that's the problem right there is the SPYDER lights.... I had the same thing happen to me a few years ago with a set of Anzo LED tails from eBay.... once I replaced them with Recons I've had no problems whatsoever!

I have an`05 and have been looking on eBay. I like the ones with Philips bulbs, and resemble the stock lights.........til you brake.......:>}.
I also like the ones posted here with the lower lights. The listings on eBay are pretty much non-descriptive, A simple question to the sellers, sure hasen`t helped. They answer "the item is same as listed" Too much effort to actually look at what they are selling,I guess!
Can anyone direct me to the ones with both upper/lower LEDS?
TIA!
Don
