I definitely wouldn't go into the dome. I don't know about you but my dome isn't on when I drive and it would kinda defeat the purpose of lighting up the floor when they shut off when the dome light does. I'd tap into the running lights if I were you.

I don't know if you're talking to me or not, but mine aren't wired into my dome lights.

By daylight lamps I mean when the darkness of outside kicks on the headlights I would like LEDs to come on also. During the daytime they would be off.
I wouldn't mind them on while driving.
