Default LED to replace Original bulbs

Hey guys and gals

Quick question on if I can just buy the LED bulbs, or if I need to buy more than just that. Looking to replace EVERY light, in and out.

Any and all information is helpful, thanks all!

You should be able to buy just the bulbs man, the only issue you may have with *some* is that the LED bulbs do not provide the right amount of resistance for your blinkers, so they blink twice as fast as normal, it's not terrible *IMO* to leave them like that, or you can put in some simple resistors. But that is the only issue I have ever come across. Amazon sells kits to replace all of them as well as superbrightleds.com that are good quality and way cheaper than buying them individually at an auto parts store.

-just a reminder when doing the swaps. If they don't work, the bulb is probably in backwards, flip it around and it should work.

Interior bulbs are plug-n-play. With the blinkers, swap in an ep27 flasher made for led's. If you want led headlights, do some research, it's more involved. If your cruise control stops working, you'll need to add a resistor to your third brake light.

Agreed with the EP27 flasher relay, takes about a minute to change out. Stopped my hyper flash when I installed my led switchbacks.

Make sure you read up and do you research before buying. Don't buy no name junk from eBay.

Leds emit light much different than an incandescent bulb. All housings on your truck are reflector housings. Using an LED that throws the light backward utilizing the reflector will give you the best results.

I use the sylvania zevo leds for tails, reverse, license plate and front turn signals. I don't even remember what's in my TBL as that was the first one I replaced. It was from superbrightleds though. Front side markers are jdmastar and my headlights are streetglow from 4x4truckleds.

I also use the Novita ep-27 flasher.

All interior lights including instrument clusters lights were also swapped to led.

I don't have a single incandescent bulb in my truck.

All of this came with a lot of trial and error. At first, I didn't understand how leds even worked. I thought it was as simple as just putting in a new bulb. That's not always the case.

Next, I thought LEDs are LEDs, I might as well save money buying them on eBay. Nope. Cheap stuff will flicker, not work, or possibly cause you other issues. The cheap stuff is also a bunch of lies. They'll list light output that is nowhere near what the LEDs actually produce.

Go with good stuff. Sylvania Zevo, Morimoto, Diode Dynamics, etc.

Does anyone know if http://www.f150leds.com/#about-1 is a good place to get lights? I've read only good reviews, which were very limited, still don't know if I can trust this place

I wouldn't trust them. All of the reviews around here of their LEDs show scattered light with a lot of glare.

Anyone use Diode Dynamics HP80 LEDs? They are $90 a pair. Thinking about getting a set just for my front turn signals. But would like to hear what other people think about these bulbs before I drop that kind of coin on them

IMO $90 for a pair of turn signals is WAY too much.
I bought this flasher http://www.ebay.com/itm/201139984344?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

and these switchbacks http://www.ebay.com/itm/231316237243?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

have had 0 problems with either of these products. A whopping $25 spent!
