LED Headlight Question
Hey everyone, Just installed LED headlights and fog lights on my 2004 F-150. My question is that when I have my headlights on everything is fine, When I turn my fog lights on my brights indicator partially lights up. Has anyone had any issues with this or know how to resolve the issue?
Thanks!

Yeah, you need to install load resistors between your high beam power wire and ground: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
He said LED headlights. It's the new rage..I hate HIDS personally. I don' think you need resistors for headlights. OP how do they look as far as compared to Halogen also do you have any pics. I've been wanting to do this for awhile now, but it's a little premature atm.

Id bet that when you switch from brights to dims one or more headlights wont switch back to dim and the fogs wont come back on? The truck thinks one or more of the lights is burnt out. The resistor will trick it and make everything work as normal. I'm not sure but I believe you'll want that resistor installed on the ground wire after the bulb or else you'll be taking power away from the bulb.

There are other threads on this. I can't comment on whether load resistors fix the issue, electrical isn't my thing.
However, if you do the Bambi mod (search for it, there are a few threads), it fixes the problem. You'll notice that currently your high beam light is dimmer than when your high beams are actually activated.

I know from experience that it will fix the issue. Load resistors between power and ground. LED's draw far less current than halogens, this essentially makes them draw more.

Yea, it bleeds off extra power, making the circuit think they're regular bulbs. Problem is that becomes heat which needs to escape, it's a solution, it's just not my preferred one.

So you put a load resistor from which power wire, the high beam or low beam to the ground on the headlight harness?
