Default LCD display, Could this be the problem?

My LCD display doesn't work, I've changed the bulb so that's not it. I pulled the cluster and popped out the display and turns out mine only has 3 of the 6 pins. I'm guessing this is the problem...is there a fix for this? if not can I buy just the display or would I need to replace the entire cluster? I tried the search feature but nothing that addressed this issue...thanks.

Have you put a volt meter to it to see if you are getting any power at all?
