i have a 2004 f150 with 135k on it and i was wondering if it was too late to do a 6 inch lift on it. the truck drives like it is brand new i was wondering if when i threw the lift on it, that it would be too much stress on the drive train. let me no any help will be usefull

It won't do any worse than putting it on a truck with 25k. Only difference is, some/all of your suspension components already have more wear on them.

It might be a good idea, unless you plan on selling it sooner than later. As long as you were religious with your maintenance (oil change, trans flush, regular diff oil change, etc) your drive train should be solid and still hold its own with a new lift. My 06 has 75K on it and still runs like a raped beast.

As long as your engine and tranny are in good shape then you should be fine. If you move to 35's it's a good idea to regear anyway so you can get those changed out, new shocks, and I would recommend changing out (upgrade to poly) any other suspension bushings that don't already come with the lift kit.
