Exclamation Lariat vs Fx4

Does anyone know of any REAL differance in the suspension if a lariat and a Fx4? i have a supercab 2006 Lariat and my buddy has a screw 2006 Fx4 and we go off roading from time to time and i asked to switch one time and can tell no differance in the offroad ride. So is Fx4 just a model for LOOKS??? Would hate to see a hard working man pay extra money for offroad suspension and receive nothing!!!!

I think the suspensions are the same, you get skid plates, all terrain tires, and little different interior, heavy rubber floor mats and the fx4 sticker.

The interior of the lairiats are usually moreplush, the fx4's have factory intalled skid plates like fend2ride said, but other than that its really just painted bumpers and different rims

yes.. they will... you can order them from www.tascaparts.com

You can find it on there site go to FRAME>FRAME AND COMPONENTS>SKID PLATES... there will be three different ones you can get.. the fx4 has them already installed...

I would call them and talk direct if you have any questions... but i could only imagine that there prices would be A LOT better then a stealerships costs..

Hmm i wonder if thats what the previous owner did to my Lariat, cause she's got the skid plates, I thought maybe they just put them on the Lariat's also.

Me too, I bought my truck used and it's got them also. I just figured they were standard.
