Default Lariat cluster face swap

Hey gents. So I have a 2007 f150 XL 4x4. I did the lariat cluster swap awhile ago, but I'm not satisfied with the crap green glow that the gauges have. I have blue led lights in my cab and my head unit is in blue too. My truck is equipped with blue rock lights outside also. So I need opinions... Do I buy a whole new cluster face like the one below or do I try the incredibly painful and aggravating task of trying to scrape the green factory coating off the back of the stock face. My end goal is to have my gauges glow blue. If I try to retrofit the stock I need advice on the best route to get the green off. Thanks gents.

Let me also tell you upfront. The new cluster face is 260 bucks. Definitely not my idea of "cheap" for something unnecessary.

Just use some acetone and strip the green tint off. If you screw up, then buy the new blue one.
