Default Largest Tires you can fit on a stock truck..

I bought my 05 new and im finally ready to get some new tires.. Whats the largest I can stuff under there??

17" or 18" ? I have 17" and I have 265/70/17 but I think you can go to 285.. Someone will be able to answer your question better.

my stock tires are 235/75/17....

I believe on a 2 wheel drive you can go with 33" and on 4 wheel drive you can go up to 35" as long as you install a levelling kit...

^^^^^^with 235's????? man thats a little tire i thought they came stock with 255's on 4x4

yeah 33's should fit fine stock im runnin 31's on 20" rims and have plenty of room once i install my leveling kit i might think about going up in tire size but i kinda like alitle gap in between the tire and wheel well thats just me tho!!

should be able to go up to a 33 on a 4 wheel drive w/o leveling kit so I've been told 35 with one

My truck came with those dinky little 235's too. Not sure why they'd even put those on a 4WD, but they did ride really nice.

Anyway, I put 285/70/17's on my stock rims without the leveling kit, and they fit fine. No rubbing anywhere. I don't think anything bigger will fit without leveling. I did however end up putting the 2" Autospring leveling kit in afterwards. Didn't have to, but it looks cool.

My 2wd came stock with 255's you would think the 4wd's would come stock with at least 265's.
