The RAM mount is a great system. Extremely sturdy, and secures the laptop very will. Doesnt shake and wobble. My dad had one in his mega cab and loved it. He is about to get one for his 09 f150 as well. Make sure you get the Quick Release mount that way if it does get in the way (which it rarely does) you can just pull a pin and the top part comes off.
