Thumbs up lack of power

Hey everybody..I need help with my f150 fx4 2006 5.4L....I have own this truck for 3 years now .. I got it with 16000 miles it now has 60000 miles ...when i test drove it ..it had poor acceleration...i changes oil ,air, and gas filter added some injector cleaner ...changed spark plugs and coil boots..and it was the same ...so i added the k&n kit ,throttlebody spacer ,and edge programer and it helped a little ...what it dose is that when i step on full throttle it starts of slow then it starts picking up ...i think its the transmition or the injectors....as i sead its ben doing this for 3 years now i never tride fixing it just the upgrades i did ..but reccently it started burning gas like a and i need some ideas ...thanks

it might have something to do with the electronic throttle control i know with my truck it hesitates when u step on the gas and if i punch it real fast and let off some times it dont do anything cause the computer dont have time to sense it if thats what its doing if not u might have another problem

what kind of programmer do u have iv heard that some are suppose to give u better throttle response like the edge evolution and diablosport trinity because u can set the stuff yourself like shift points and other stuff other than that i really dont know its just the way ford made them but a good programmer that u can change stuff like that should help
