I've had 35/14.50/17 Kumho Road Venture M/T's for about 35k miles. I think mine are the older tread pattern so hopefully the new style is better. Mine suck in cold weather. They act like bias tires, and shake pretty violently for the first 5-10 miles until they heat up. Other than that, they had good traction on and off road and decent tread life but I will not be buying them again. I am going with 38/15.50/18 Toyo's or Nitto's.

I recently bought a set of Kumho Road Venture's (not sure which model off the top of my head) and I've been pleasantly surprised by their performance. I'm usually the type of guy who buys high-end tires to ensure max performance (Michelin PS2, Bridgestone Pole Position, etc.) but this time around I was looking for a bargain.

Short version: I read the testimonials off of Tire Rack and the Kumho's got great reviews despite the low price (on my model at least). I would recommend hitting their site to see what others have said. With every tire, you'll get a mix of reviews but, in my opinion, if the overwhelming tone is positive, you should be good. And again, I've been very pleased with the performance and quality of my tires. We just had several feet of snow here in D.C. and the Kumho's got the job done!

Man I've had these tires for 20k miles and they are still holding great tread. They perform great for me. I have to follow my buddies runnin 35's and mine are 33's and hold their own. I usually end up pulling them out. Quiet for the aggresive tread pattern and don't chip on rough terrain. I would recommend these tires to anyone, and I know two or three others who run them and love them. And as for the older tread pattern, they were great offroad, in really soft stuff, but on the road you could usually watch them wear out. The new tire has really satisfied me in all areas

^^ you and DeltaFord, both of you guys thanks for your opinion. It shows their good tires and reliable from ppl who actually run them. The place that said their not worth the rubber their made on is probably just trying to get me to buy tires from them.Man i hate ppl like that, that put down other products just to buy something from them.So tom I'm going back up their and giving my opinion about them.So far from you guys, and the reviews from tire rack all have been good reviews. Thanks again all, cant wait to get mine.I'm putting the order in this Friday
