Default Kumho Road Venture MT or Nitto Mud Grappler?

I'm looking at 35x12.50 17r kumho road venture MT's and Nitto mud grapplers. I was wondering what everybodies opinions on these tires were and maybe what you think is the best mud terrain tire for the money. Pictures of your trucks with the tires on them would be great.

Well the Kumohs are probably going to be better for street use and tire life. The mud grapplers are going to be better offroad, however they make a lot of noise and don't really last that long.
In my opinion the Nitto Trial grappler is the best streetable MT out there. It's what I have had for the last 4k miles and they're great everywhere and are relativity cheap for an MT.
Here's my truck but with 295-70-18 (34.57-11.73-18) trail grapplers...

Okay, well first off I would like to say that Nitto Trail Grapplers are the best M/T you can buy, so if you want to expand your horizion to Trail Grapplers then that would be awesome. However, my opinions on these two tires that you are looking at is; Nitto is a better tire brand then kumho, although they're more expensive. Though the Mud Grapplers are not the greatest mud tire, unless that is all your going to be using it for. Hint, the tread won't last long, and they are one of the loudest tires on the road. Now the Kumho's I've heard are a good M/T, but once the tread gets low then should probably avoid mud pits/. Out of the two tires you have listed I can honestly say buy either one, because you have two tires that are practically equal. Please look into Trail Grapplers, these tires are awesome.

Trail Grapplers in 14"s of snow= yes sir.

Trail Grapplers in mud= yes sir.

Trail Grapplers in rain, and/or foot of standing water= yes sir.

Trail Grapplers, because their on my truck, and they should be on yours too.

PS: Just saw another Trail Grappler supporter posted before me... /

I'm running toyo open country and love them. Just don't like running them at the recomended 57 psi from what the factory told me. They ride like a cadilac at 40 psi but like a dump truck at 57 psi

I personally cannot stand Nitto at all.
I'm about to run the khumo at on my truck and can say from seeing them that they are a pretty mean looking all terrain. And the mileage u can get is great.

I recommend the trail grapplers, I had a set of 33" mud grapplers back in the day and they make so much noise and I only got a bit over 20k miles. They look great and work great offroad I wouldn't run them on a daily driver though. They kuhmos I've had to friends that have ran those so far and they both had 37 13.5 r 20s and they had problems with uneven wear and they are a directional tire.
