King Ranch 4wd VS Harley Awd
Hey Guys
I'm wondering if you can help me out. I'm trying to figure out the main differences between the two trucks from 2004 - 2006(probably buy a 2005).
So Far I figured the Harley has AWD instead which would probably mean worse gas millage
The King Ranch has a sun roof and heated seats. Not sure if the Harley does
Harley has 22 inch wheels and the King has 18s?
Anything you guys can add would be appreciated.
Cheers

There are some differences obviously but with either of them you can get nearly the same options/upgrades. So from a buying perspective it would depend on if you wanted the more of a street truck so to say or ranch style truck.
BTW the King's have 20's.

My Expedition Is an 03 with a 5.4 It has selectable AWD and it seems to get the same mileage with it on or off. Not sure why, maybe cause it only engages when the rear wheels slip

Do you plan on doing any heavy off-roading? If so, the King Ranch and 4WD would be the better option, since you'd have the selectable 4-Hi and 4-Low.
The Harley for one would cost you more at the pump, not sure how much, since the AWD would always be engaged. Plus you have to worry about the front hubs going out a lot sooner than a 4WD. I had to replace my '99 Explorer 5.0L AWD front hubs when it was only like 4-5 years old. Plus in the deep snow/mud, the AWD doesn't work nearly as well as a true 4X4.
If it'll be a street queen, the Harley may be the better way to go. Any true off-roading and the KR would be the better choice.
