I order stuff from China/Hong Kong through Ebay, pay through Paypal, though I think that the specifically excempt China from and insurance as far as loss. Take into account that customs stops a percentage to check, I would imagine electronics more than some, so it may be delayed.
China Ive had things take two weeks, and some as much as seven to arrive from time of ship. Thats avg, I did get one item 10 weeks out, but not sure if customs held it up or was shipped late.
Hong Kong, Ive ordered three things from there and all three arrived almost exactly six weeks from time of ship.
I judge time of ship when I get the email through Ebay stating its shipped.

I like that one more than the China Din I have just because it doesn't have a flip down screen like mine. Mine works fine but I imagine that is one of the weak points down the road. The reason I don't like the $100 one is the lack of a SW out RCA.

I've bought about a half dozen items off ebay that came from China or Hong Kong. I've had things arrive as quick as 2 weeks and as long as 8 weeks and once, not at all, but the seller reshipped. I don't know how they can sell things so cheap. I bought a set of 8 covers from my kids phone for less than a dollar, including shipping. At the ATT store, they wanted $29.00 each. I bought a GPS mount for my motorcycle for $2.50, shipped. Never bought anything over $10 though, but at this point, I'm pretty comfortable and would do it if I found something I wanted.
