Kenwood is not a bad amp, it may not be top shelf, but it's a good 2nd class amp. I used to use kenwood back in the early 2000s.

I got 2 jl w112's on a kicker 400.1 mono block and it sounds perfect and hurts my ears most of the time, kicker is awesome and 500 watts on 2 10's is plenty for just a good ole " everyday system". Do you know how many channels that 500 is?

I understand the used audio stuff, I don't either lol, and those kickers sound good, just stay away from the black and yellow kicker comps, they don't hit hard. And thats a good price on that kicker too, that same setup is like $200 at best buy

i got quoted $480 for 2 kicker cvt shallow mount 10's, the kicker 500 watt amp (not sure how many channels STX4x405, the guy didn't give details. i'm guessing its a mono amp maybe?), and a kicker wiring kit. i found a underseat box at a local shop for $80, and install will be $80-100, depends on how long it takes.

you guys think this sounds like a decent deal?
