Default Keypad stopped working 2006 f150

So my keypad just stopped working. I tried hitting it to make it lock and nothing same with unlocking. I unplugged the battery for 20 minutes and tried again and got nothing. I looked in my manual for a fuse but didnt see one.

That's interesting and scary. What do you do if your keys are locked inside and no spare with you? Since getting my 04, I always lock my keys inside.

I just had the same problem. Pull back the rubber cover on the wires between the cab and the door on the drivers side. I had 3 broken wires. Fixed them and was back in business.

I do too. But not when I'm on vacation or at a meeting out of town.
