Alright well would it be possible to just change out the box that I got my handle off of. Would that work or would I still need the dealership?

I did a write up on how I did mine. https://www.f150forum.com/f38/2010-o...ey-pad-220226/

Not sure how much applies to an '04. Read the write up and PM if you have any questions. Be glad to help if I can.

Ok so I know this was a while back but I'm just gettin around to it but I took my truck to the dealership and they told me it wasn't possible I would be better off gettin an aftermarket one or gettin the brain out of a truck that had one and it might work then but after talkin to him he assured me it wouldn't work he said he would do it and charge me either way so I told him to do it and gave him this link and told him to amuse me and about 30 mins latter he brought my key back with my code and it worked like a charme. Thanks guys
