My new '08 Supercrew came with a sticker in the glovebox stating the "code" for the keypad...

Only thing is.........I have no keypad.

Can I add this feature to my truck then? I read somewhere on this forum that the wiring is already in the truck. I just have to install the handles..I think?

Anyone have any suggestions on where I can purchase them and how to install them?

I installed the handles just to have them painted to match the truck, sure enough the wires where there and I just plugged it up. I have no idea what the code is or if it works. I guess I'll check my glove box haha.

If you have a screw or I even think scab I believe you can also find code behind rear seat so I've been told

door codes are behind the rear seat also. And yes the trucks are all prewired for keypad, power/heated mirrors and such

Only had the truck for one week. I haven't had time to read the manual. but HOW DO YOU LOOK BEHIND THE SEAT??

I haven't seem to find a way to do this. The back doesn't seem to move.

Also, where can the "keypad" handles be found online?

I took my truck in for maintnance and just had them look up the code for my truck while I was there ( i have a standard cab and couldnt find the code behind the seat. They just plug in a computer to the data port and retrieve the code.

I bought mine used, and have no idea what the door code is. I have the keypads, but don't know the codes. Is there a way to reset it or look it up?

you have to have the original code to add a personal code (the instructions are in the manual, which is available at myford.com if you don't have it). The easiest way to get the original code is to swing by the dealer and just have them look it up.
