Hopefully I dont intrude on your thread to much but I have a question about the keyless keypad also. I dont know how many bulbs are behind it but one of the buttons isnt lighting up like the rest.. can I take off the door and replace the bulb or is there more behind it then that?

I didn't pay attention to the bulbs. But its petty easy taking off the handle to check. 9 screws take the door panel off. Then there's two more holding the handle. I know that pressing the buttons doesn't do anything for me, so I don't think that's a problem on my side. Does u buttons work when presse?

Ya mine works, just guessing theres a bulb out since it doesn't fully light up. I'm not to mechanical but what comes to mind for me is fuses or another issue I had with my driver side door is in the door jam where the wire are fed through they started to rip apart thus stopping my driver side window to stop working. I went in with some solder, wire, and heat shrink and fixed them up. All you need to do is slide that boot into your door so that the door jam is exposed and look for damaged or broken connections there.

Oh just thinking a little more into it. Do you know your code? Like did it work before then it stopped? I know when I bought my current truck I took it to a ford dealership to reset the code to my chosen. The code is behind the back seat but there is ways to change it yourself if you know the stock code and then of course the code isnt stock anymore. So going out on a limb maybe it works but the code is wrong and your bulbs are burnt out like mine =)

I never had the code. Bought my truck last December with no code. Took the back seat part to get code. Tried it nothing happen. Presses All the button nothing happen. When back to the plugs and took them out and put them back. Notice a black wire just cut but I have no Idea what it is for. Need help identifying. What the wire is and what the plugs are for.

With your truck unlocked and your keys in your hand, press the last 2 buttons at the same time-it should lock the truck if your keypad is working to rule out using the wrong code. I think the last 2 buttons lock thing works on all Fords with keypads.
