Default 2005 f150 4x4 rides rough!!!

I know fords 4x4 is known for riding rough.
What's are the signs when it's time to change your front and rear shocks???

I priced some rancho shocks and they were stupid expensive..

Should I just spend the money on rancho shocks or should I just put back on the factory shocks???

Rancho shocks are junk. Both of my brothers put them on their trucks and ended up replacing them with different ones because they rode awful and werent really long enough.

Both of them have stock height trucks but yet somehow the shocks were too short and didnt have enough travel.

Id also stay away from KYB. After breaking two of them clean off at the bolt eyelet welds on my Mustang I went with a set of Monroe's.

I don't know where you heard that the F150 have a rough ride but out of all the 1/2 ton trucks the Fords have the best ride.

Prob about time to replace them anyway. Are any of your tires chopping? Thats a good sign there heading out too. I need to replace mine this summer also. I also have had bad luck with rancho in the past. Monroe makes an inexpensive shock and they ride good to.
