Default Key fob

07 f150 lariat. The key fob keeps deprogramming. It will work and then just go dead. If i reprogram it by turning the ignition 8x then it works. Any ideas?

have you dropped the key fob before or left it close to water or left it outside for a extended period of time? if so moisture has gotten into the chip itself and shorted it out, one way to solve that problem is take the fob apart chip and everything, and get some dry non cooked rice and put them in the rice and let it sit for 24 hours, then all the condensation and moisture will be absorbed by the rice

I don't know what to tell you. I had to buy an aftermarket FOB when mine broke off my ring. No Idea where the original Ford one fell by the time I noticed it was gone. Bought an aftermarket and every few months have to reprogram it to the truck. I chuck it up to saving $50 by not buying it from the dealer.
