Default K N vs. NAPA Balkamp Air Filter

I was talking to my NAPA guy and asked about K N air filters and he said he could get me one so I ordered it. When I was looking at their website they show K N but have it under a Balkamp part number, instead of the K N E-9045, they have BK 7353769. Does anyone know if these are indeed the same product? Is K N owned by Balkamp or does K N private label their product for Balkamp/NAPA? Just curious.

Picked up and installed the air filter. It is a K N box and has the K N number E-9045 on the box but a smaller NAPA sticker says "made for Balkamp replaces E-9045". I am just glad it is a K N and not a knockoff. Do you K N users use the K N renewal kits or if not what oil and cleaners do you use for maintaining your filters?

The K&N filter wash and oil works well but go easy on the oil. Too much oil on the filter and you will be cleaning/changing your MAF sensor.
