2005 XLT whith 5.4 Upgrades
Hey just joined the site 
i just got my '05 XLT about a month ago and (after fighting with the dealer about whether the IWE solenoid was bad or not 
) i want to make this "girl" into the meanest thing on the road 
and i was wondering if you had any suggestions on where to start. my buddy said get a "chip" firs and my other one said a new Air Intake. i just don't know where to begin XD my biggest problem is i'm not exactly rich so this is going to be a long processes.

Intakes and throttle body spacers are overrated on F150s... Tuners are good (Edge or Gryphon are favorites around here), but they won't get you better gas mileage. But some better performance.
My best advice, keep looking at trucks on here and figure out what you like and what will suit your truck. Don't trust the opinions of strangers because they don't know what you like. Just spend some time to decide what you want and what comes first.
There is lots of picture threads on here so you can get good looks at trucks and the mods they have.

XD as soon as i figure out the camera ill get some pics up. and corey thanks for the advice but how are the intakes overrated? just wondering. and also dose anyone know a site to get custom Mud-Flaps? i can't find one that will take a picture and put it on them. (preferably stainless/chrome
