I don't see why not, maybe NGM would be a better one to answer this question though. Seafoam is suppose to be great stuff and it's pretty cheap anyways, I would just you this if I were you. I only spent $8 for a can of it.

I did a little digging on the internet about this stuff and amazingly I didn't really find anything bad!
Is it safe on o2 sensors etc? I know some of the older "cleaning" products were not really made to be used on all of our new tech.

Just curious.

well.. i wonder if it would do a little damage on the engine seals on higher mileage vehicles. I dont know if i want to take the chance. Maybe on newer vehicles it would be better. Just a little scared thats all.

p.s. called the shop today. Pinstripes for the truck are getting put on today. Tommorrow i pick her up!!!yea

I don't know aout ALL fuel injector cleaners. I do know Seafoam works and I know the BG products work. Alot of injector cleaners give a false feeling of power because they add an octane booster.

If you run it in the oil it might cause problems due to cleaning any buildup on the sealing surfaces. In other workds older engines might have some buildup on the surface that is sealing and if that is cleaned off and the oil is allowed direct contact with the old gaskets it might start leaking..

yea i am also scared with the high mileage engine i have , that the "gunk" that is going to be cleaned off might lodge itself on to other parts of the engine.
