Default just placed order for 2.5 HBS level..some ?s

Just placed order for 2.5" HBS front level kit for my 04 screw. From what I've seen these don't look too dificult to install. I am pretty mechanically inclined. I do most of my own repairs. Are there any tips that they don't show you in the directions? Also, ordered BFG's 275/70/18s. Anybody have some pics of this combo already? Got a great deal on the BFGs...$911 installed including 6% sales tax.

Thanks.

Its pretty tough to get the strut back in after the kit is on. If you can use a prybar or a crowbar to wedge it in place on the LCA. That was really the only trouble i had. Oh yeah, and dont forget to use the E-brake haha. Made that mistake a few times.

Get a pitman arm puller to separate the UCA ball joint from the spindle.

Here's mine with just the 2.5" in front, 275/70R18:

i didnt bother getting a pitman arm puller...i just used a prybar and a couple good smacks with a hammer....you will need some large metric sockets and wrenches....i think it was 30mm 27mm and 22mm...i had to go buy the 30mm....loctite everything when done and enjoy....took me about 2 hours on one side then about 30 min on the other side after i knew what i was doing....here some before and after pics of mine with 275/70/18s...

Thanks for the responses. I pretty much have all the tools, I know there is always something left out or directions that experience makes up for. Sounds like it should be simple. Just got to wait for my kit to come. Nice trucks in the pics. I'll get some before and after when completed.

This is the only hard part, but nothing you can solve with a good hammer, some brute force, and just a little brain.
