Default Just installed 2" Auto Spring on 04 STD CAB FX4

As the title says, I installed the 2" AS kit on my truck yesterday in about 2.5 hours (had to go buy a 30mm impact socket), but it was a pretty easy install. I have an appointment with the local ford dealer tomorrow for a front end alignment (theres a coupon to have this done for 39.95 on myford.com under maintnance).

Now when I'm making a low speed turn (like into the driveway) the steering feels a bit squirrelly, will this be solved with the front end alignment. Also should I be scarred to use my 4 wheel drive because of CV shaft angles???? this is also my hunting vehicle and I don't want it to let me down when I need it.

The truck looks good though!!!

I would just ask the mechanic at your Ford dealer about the things you feel in the steering wheel and he'll probly know what to do, hopefully it'll just be an alignment issue.

No worries with the CV's and 4WD.

yeah I don't notice the problem anymore, I think it actually drives better than it did before, I was surprised it didn't make the ride rougher.

on another note, has anyone else had the alignment done at the Ford dealer and if so, did they give you a print out of what they did for the alignment.....they gave me some papers but they don't say weather they adjusted anything or not.

Will
