Default Just got my truck serviced and it still seems off :/

Ok so hi guys!
Well I work at the refineries and made a 13 hour drive to my plant destination. My truck made it with no problems. Two days later my gears stop kicking in, loud whinding noise while I press the gas, horrible thump when putting it in reverse and drive, and i got the trans fault error message and O/D off light. Took it to the dealership to get fixed and just picked it up. Turns out it was my rear end and they fixed that. Now when no gas or very little is applied it still kinda jerks very little. Not as bad as before and it still thumps in reverse not drive. Was reading online that that it could be my driveshaft or u joint. Questions is would that be the problem for both or just the thump?
Any input is appreciated.

Bad u-joints could definitely cause both of those symptoms, along with strange vibrations. The dealership should have caught that, especially since they rebuilt the rear axle.

Thank you! Will he taking it to get the trans flyid changed and will ask for them to check the u joints. Hopefully it is that and not a whole other can of worms

I recommend getting under the truck and checking for loose u-joints yourself. It's not hard and you will save a ton doing it yourself.

All Star Ford refunded me my 2000 dollars, Ford got on their case and defended the customer! Many kudos to them!
