I pretty much alwAys disconnect the battery wen im working on my truck out of habit. But no u dnt have to

That could be why. Disconnecting the battery makes the computer forget how to drive. You have to let it run for a while so it can re-learn. Sort of how I have to teach my wife how to check the pockets of the laundry every time she washes my wallet.

To answer the inevitable questions: yes, when I put my own jeans in the laundry, they are empty. If she gets to my laundry before I have the chance (i.e. it's on the floor next to my side of the bed), she just chucks it into the pile and away it goes.

Lmao ur right I just started disconnecting wen I weld up my own exhausts . It became a habit even wen I wasn't welding sumthing on my truck I need to Brake the habit . Cause I no u dnt have to disconnect the battery wen ur working on ur truck . My old lady washed my wallet acouple months ago I lost everything my social was in peices I was jacked
