Just Changed Pads.... Too Late to Get Rotors Turned?
I put new brake pads on all four wheels about a month ago. I've probably put about 1,000 miles on the truck since then. Mostly on two 500 mile road trips with a little bit of running around.
So today somebody was lazily making a turn with their truck and trailer across the oncoming (my) lane, and I thought I was about to hit the trailer. So now I think I should go back and see if I can further upgrade my recent brake work.
Is it too late to go in and turn the rotors? What else can I do to make the truck stop better?

You can get the rotors turned at any time.
What kind/brand of pads did you install?
I put Wagner Thermo Quiet pads on my Ranger - they work very well.

That is what I will be putting on this truck when the time comes.
