Dealership. You could try salvage yards but the likelyhood of finding this is slim.

I never understand why folks take these from a vehicle then trade it in or sell it without. Makes no sense to me.

The boneyard is the first place I'd look for one, then Ebay. Make the dealership your last resort, as it will be pricey to buy from the partsw department.

Did you buy it from the used lot of a Ford dealership? If so, ask the sales person if they will GIVE you a setup.

Whenever I buy a used vehicle, I check for the owners manual, the jack and all parts, a good spare tire, etc. If any are missing, I ask them to provide; otherwise I walk.

Too late for you perhaps, but remember on your next purchase of a used vehicle.

eh, it was a private sale from an elderly gentleman. He owned the truck as a business vehicle and his business partner drove the vehicle quite a bit. When I asked him about the jack, he said that his partner must have used it and not put it back. As to where its at now, he had no idea. I got such a good deal on the truck ($6500) that it wasnt a deal breaker not to have it.

but thanks to the replies. as of right now, I can pick one up off ebay, shipped, for around $80. so I'm gonna call around locally first. otherwise, guess ebay is my best option. Thanks again.
