update on a Class action
A class action to initiate an recall DOES NOT HAVE TO BE A SAFTEY ITEM, it can be based on QUALITY OF PRODUCT.
The problem with the the spark plugs is the spark plug itself, it has nothing to do with the aluminum heads. if the "dealer" has to break all of them to get them out ( which they did ) then no amount of PB blaster is going to loosen up the carbon that has built up around the pressed on contact on the end of the plug.
Another case involving QUALITY OF PRODUCT that resulted ina recall was the plastic intake manifold on the Lincoln Town car, who the hell would have tought a PLASTIC INTAKE MAINIFOLD would have worked? I was hit for $584 bucks and since some engineer thought that a 2 piece spark plug was a good Idea I would like for me and all other who had this problem to be able to get our money back.......

I hate to tell you this, dustin, but if you pop the hood of most cars now you'll see .....(drum roll, please......) a plastic intake manifold.
The issue with the intake manifolds is that if they break, (which they had a tendency to do) the vehicle is completely inoperative.
The spark plugs? If the dealer or mechanic follows Ford's TSB, they shouldn't have a problem, and if they do the tools are readily available to correct the situation. Unless one is broken during the course of operation (not likely) the vehicle still works.
Go ahead, find an ambulance chaser to take the lawsuit. Regardless of whether you win or not, lawyers will get rich, vehicle prices will rise(Ford has to pay the lawyers from somewhere), and even if you win the most likely outcome is you'll get a $50 certificate to use on your next service at the dealer.
Please, everyone, keep suing every time you have an issue. Lawyers love it, the courts get clogged with bull****, and corporations lose their shirts. What does the consumer get out of it? Higher prices.

There is a road near my wife's parents house in Deltaville, Va called "Bob's Hole Rd." Haha.
Undoubtedly it is a spot on what is an otherwise flawless track record. Yes, other manufacturers are having problems as well. Check out Toyota and their new "Unattended acceleration due to floormat" issue and their newest "Structurally unsafe vehicles since 2003" issue. Honda/Acura had TERRIBLE transmission issues between 1998-2003 and GM has been experiencing transmission issues over the last few years that makes me think they are trying to rival Chrysler for the *****tiest transmission on the market.

Hi-Rev Motorsports
they all got issues...
round here they are all just as bad...Dodge being #1 for tannies and Ford being #2 and GM being #3...worst part is Fords are the cheapest and rustiest of the 3....
and they all get terrible mileage compared to the overseas versions.....
