It's gonna get ugly
So I bought a 06 F150 scab 5.4 with 63,215 mukes in 1.9.14
2 weeks after I bought the truck it started to vibrate in overdrive at 45 mph. I scheduled to bring it in to have it looked at under warranty and that is where the fun started.
At the first visit they ask me whats wrong. I tell them it vibrates in overdrive at 45mph i had it up to 60mph and they vibration dosent stop. BUT, I also tell them
The vibration goes away when you take you foot off the gas.
The vibration goes away when you turn overdrive off.
When it starts to vibrate, I keep my foot on the gas and put the truck in nutuel, the vibration goes away. After 4 hours they tell me the wheels and tired were WAY out of balance....annoyed I leave and the very next day schedule another appt.
2nd trip, I tell them i think its in the trans...nope! its u joints. Vibration remains. Call again
3rd trip. Go for a ride with a tech with a scan tool hooked up and he says torques converters bad. Service manager says well order one and call you. 3 weeks later I call them and they say it just arrived we were about to call you.
4th trip. Torque Converter replacement trucks there for a week. I pick it up and the vibrations still there.
5th trip. Drop it off monday after work. Thursday I get a call and they say they dont know whats wrong with it. They balanced checked engine, tested coils, checked engine balancer, theyre stumped. The service manager also telll me he can get it to vibrate in park without the truck moving.
They say fords websites down and theyll call me when it comes back online and figure it out. Friday, no call. Saturday, no call. Monday,no call. Tuesday I call them and they say the body mounts are bad but they dot have them in stock. They tell me I can pick the truck up and theyll call me when the mounts arrive.
1 weeks passes and no call. On Wednesday I call them and once again they just arrived and they just about to call.
6th trip. I drop the truck off Thursday after work.
Tuesday comes and I call for an update. It's a big job but it will be done Wednesday. Wednesday I call and they ran into complications and itll be done Thursday. I call....they tell me they didnt know how to remove the backseat and had a glass guy who was present do it, but itll be done Friday.
So on Friday 4.4.14 I pick my truck uo and somethin seems off. Nothing see,s to be disturbed, the radion buttons are still set to the channels I had them andddddd....vibration is still present! Even in park at 2k rpms the vibration is still there!
On wednesday 4.9.14 the truck is going to a driveline specialist to get looked at. The Dealer I bought the truck from is acting all apologetic and is backing my decision of taking it to a different shop and says they help with whatever I need.
At this point Im ready to lawyer up or approach the Dealer owner about taking the truck back and me walking away, Im fed up with this ****! Im tryin to remain civil but my temper keeps flaring when I speak to the Service managers.

If it's vibrating in park I would think its safe to eliminate the driveline since driveshaft and axles are not spinning. I'm betting on a misfire

It's Paraguay. Look it up,dick.
Since you seem unable to make the easiest of leaps, I was speaking for DSG04 AND myself.
This is what I thought. When the truck started to idle rough, I went on Amazon and bought the lisle tool. I bought the plugs when I was waiting for the U joints to be installed on my second trip there.
BUT
When I drove the Tech around while he looked over the Scan Tool, he checked for misfires, and there were none.

Cam phasers? Mine did the same thing on my test drive. Shook like it was gonna stall and drive like crap out of no where then went away. Told the service manager when I got back he said he bet it was the phasers, changed them and the next day no more shake. Just a guess.
