Issues with towing and oversized tires?

There is many people who say 4:56 gears are for 37" you don't need the gearing that low for 35" tires
I myself went with 4:56 as per a friend at 4wheel parts and I don't regret the choice
now this link is to a nice chart for tire size, gear ratio andyuo can compare what is a good stock ratio to the larger tire ratio. this chart gave me the info I needed to decide that I wanted to go with the 36" tire.

my stock 31" tire with the 3:73 gears = 2628
when I went up to 35" w/3:73 gears = 2328 too high geared
so with my 35" and outing in 4:56 gears= 2845 much lower than stock
I figured that with 36" tires w/4:56 gears= 2766 i around a 5% lower than stock and my rpm s were good 2000 in OD at 70 mph
So now if you go with 35" tire w/4:10 gear you will be higher geared than my truck was stock 31" w/3:73 gears
so where is the happy medium ?
the chart should help make up your mind.
Let me know.
It cost a lot to do gear changes so you would want it right.
It seems that the 36" tire is showing up more and more now.
I hope this helps you decide
