If you want to put it there, I would just get some velcro with the sticky adhesive. I don't think you would want to mount anything permanent. Good idea for the kids on road trips. Maybe you could even find some grey velcro so it doesn't stand out as much when the ipad is removed.

Why not just let your kid hold the ipad? Srs, i get the point of using one as a headunit for music and Nav but for passengers seems like its not in the greatest spot due to glare and being so far away when reclined.

I wouldn't mount ur iPad there at all. Ur going to eliminate the airbag (ur child's safety) for an iPad? Like they said above u should just put Velcro or something on it

I think the airbag comes out the top, could be wrong though. If it does, there won't be projectile Ipads haha

That is not airbag- the airbag comes out the top; Correct me if i'm wrong but I believe that is where all the trucks computer stuff is at behind there.

I think it would be awesome to have one mounted in there. It'd be much more stable than Velcro... It'd look a lot nicer too. I still want to get one installed where my radio is.
