My 2004/5.4L with 90k has developed an intermittant stalling/surging problem. The dealer told me the throttle position sensor is going bad and needs to be replaced. There were trouble codes to confirm this diagnosis. Apparently, the sensors themselves cannot be replaced, but the entire throttle body - about $600 for the part. Does this sound right?
