So, I'm looking around for a used 2004-08 F150 mostly at craigslist and autotrader and noticed something. My wife has a 2005 F150 Crew Cab Lariat which I love! I know that the FX4, Lariat and King Ranch are the only ones available with the flow thru console with the shifter in there but looking at pictures online of F150's I noticed that not all Lariat's and FX4 models have this center console design???

I have a fold up center console that makes a 6th seat. The shifter is on the dash in my lariat.

So, the full center console was some kind of option then? Do you have the 5.4 or the smaller V8? Wonder if that makes a difference?
