A tuner is a great fix to adjust the idle.
Another great fix is 5w-30 and fresh updated VCT solenoids.
I have a 2011 that has the same idle. I'll be stopped at a light and the needle bounces from 490-510 ish and i can feel the rough vibration. I have some trouble with my 1st to 2nd shift also, tried unplugging the battery to fix that issue, but it's still there. Not sure if these could be related.

I've done minimal research on tuners, but is there one that might solve both my problems?
