Interesting FPDM find
So I wanted to replace the fpdm in the '07. It hasn't been acting up, but I did notice a crack and corrosion, better to be safe than sorry... Anyway since I do not use Dorman anything, I took a chance on an Airtex for $88. To my surprise, it is a FoMoCo unit- all part numbers and documentation. I know that Airtex supplies to the OEM industry, apparently they manufacture the fpdm for Ford.

Not really knowing how it's mounted (because I haven't checked / removed mine), I wouldn't have noticed them either.

When he asked the question about "stand-off" I just assumed he knew what it meant and how it worked. My bad !

There's no need to block anyone. There's a difference between having something useful to post and just being a jerk. Someday you'll figure it out. When I said earlier about posting something useful or nothing at all. I wasn't taking a shot at your intelligence or knowledge. Just trying to remind you that some people are beginners, moderate and others are at a very high level of knowledge. But you got to start somewhere. Just keep it all in mind the next you respond with a foolish remark.
