i am not usually an ******** but how in the hell are leaves gonna get in the the inside of a ****ing fender and then thru the intake vent system...????? i guess if you have a four wheel drive and bury it in the mud then i guess you might find some leaves in but mostly mud in the system...

You've never removed the lid on a stock air cleaner to access the filter and found leaves, bugs, pieces of paper, etc. lying on the base of the filter box? I have.

If you in the desert, I suppose it's possible you would not find this happening to you.

Yes i have found stuff like that on older vehicles that used to have the big fat round air filter containers... but honestly i havent on this f150 and also on the mazda b2300 that i had which had the square type of filter... i guess it also could depend on if you are 4 wheeling it in the woods to though..
