I have a 08 5.4l 3 valve and I have coolant pooling around 2 and 3 coil pack I can smell the coolant but can't actually see where it's coming from? Any ideas

Sounds like a good place to start. A pressure tester may help you pinpoint it. Check the oil and make sure it's not mixing with the coolant before you have a more serious problem.

You might want to check the radiator hose clamp near the engine block. Mine was leaking a small amount and I couldn't see where it was coming from. When I went to take off the hose for replacement, I found that the original clamp was broken on the underside of the hose. The clamp was tight around the hose but was no longer providing enough clamping pressure. I couldn't see the broken part until I tried to take it off. New hose clamp and no more leaks.

Hope yours is as simple as mine was.
