Today i got on it and it wound shift and it struggled to keep up with the Rpm's and it started to miss and light came on. And I let it sit for a minute and it cleared up and I got on it again and it struggled to shift. But I tried it where it felt good for the motor and it hauls *** like normal. What's up with this? Air to hot?

You are not doing your engine any favors. Whatever you are trying to accomplish, stop. Put your factory intake tube on and enjoy reliability over the 2 or 3 HP you are trying to gain with your little experiment. Which I am still not sure what it is........

Haha I just took it off because I took it through mud and one of my pulleys are making an annoying noise so I was putting stp on them and didn't put it back on wanted to try something. But I oiled them all up and it's still making a weird noise. Kind of sounds like a blower is on it. The belt wines and I need to figure it out because it's annoying

I'm thinking about getting a new tensioner pulley because that's what it sounds like.

Two days ago my son bought a used F150 with a K&N and we noticed the same thing. We cleaned the MAF and temp sensor, and then promptly S-canned the filter.
I agree with this. Mine was sucking snow through, causing the truck to buck, and go into limp mode. Into the garbage can it went.
