Today i got on it and it wound shift and it struggled to keep up with the Rpm's and it started to miss and light came on. And I let it sit for a minute and it cleared up and I got on it again and it struggled to shift. But I tried it where it felt good for the motor and it hauls *** like normal. What's up with this? Air to hot?

Haha I just took it off because I took it through mud and one of my pulleys are making an annoying noise so I was putting stp on them and didn't put it back on wanted to try something. But I oiled them all up and it's still making a weird noise. Kind of sounds like a blower is on it. The belt wines and I need to figure it out because it's annoying

Also, do yourself a favor and DONT put a K&N filter in it. They don't filter worth a crap, and they'll foul the MAF with oil residue. I put one in my first 7.3 years ago, and several months down the road I pulled the filter and noticed a coating of dust in the intake tube.
Two days ago my son bought a used F150 with a K&N and we noticed the same thing. We cleaned the MAF and temp sensor, and then promptly S-canned the filter.
