Default installing lift blocks.

ok im probily over thinking this but i have to ask. im installing my 3" blocks tomorrow for a 1" lift in the rear. but im thinking about how to do it and need to make sure im not going to **** something up.

ok so if i leave the tires on and undo the u bolts on one side and the shock. then jack up on the bed/frame some where then slide the new ones in and lower it down. new u bolts and tighten it up... is that it i mean it seems that simple but i tend to screw up simple things

thanks in advance. im tackling this tomorrow so pics to come!

Your better off jacking truck off ground tires off, jack stand on frame jack under rearend with slight pressure undo u bolts lower rearend take old stuff out put new stuff in n jack it back up with again slight pressure on rearend so it doesn't shift then tighten it all up to specs and put wheels back on once on ground retorque unbolted and after 100 miles retorque again

My garage has a slight ramp to get into it so I backed my truck up close so it narrowed to gap between my bumper and the ground and jacked off the Reese hitch out back if that helps.
