It would be ridiculous, but I've seen a person with it running a SWR of like 0.7

Anyways OP, you'll just need to find a nice antenna, I love the firestik. Make sure you run your cable in 3ft increments.

Thanks for replying dopewaffle,

Ok thanks dude! I'll probably go up to my pilot flying J to get a good antenna. They got a cb radio shop in there. I'll probably go with the magnetic antenna like the one in the YouTube video.

Thanks for replying homer,

I see that the members here respond to topics quick. Especially to this topic! It was a very fast reply. And there is the "thanks" button. But yeah I wish they had a "like" button like on Facebook.

Thanks for replying dopewaffle,

Thank you bud! This really helped me out for understanding what you guys were talking about. I understood what you were saying in the video! Now I know if I get a advanced cb radio I know how to work it. Thank you so much for the video!! Also thanks for telling me about hooking it up for my truck!

You'll get the hang of it pretty quick. If you want the CB you have already chose, go ahead. You'll still need someone with a SWR meter to peak and tune the radio.
