Default Installing Bed Lights

I am planning on installing LED led glow bed lights.

Back near the tailgate/bumper of the truck is there a constant 12 V hot wire? I'd like to simply install them by tapping into this wire and then using a switch to turn them on and off.

Any help would be appreciated.

My 7 pin connector is not getting power with the key on or off. Does anyone have a link to the relay/fuse locations to make it hot?

I wanted constant power with the truck on or of so what I did was found a fuse in the cab that was constant hot either ignition off or on and put a double fuse holder ran the cable back to the bed and sodered the wires one power, ground, acc ( the actual light cable) I have a switch in the bed so I can turn it one when ever I want if you need a Diagram I'll make one if you would like

Ohh I have a bed cover so I ran it on the rail of the bed cover not the actual bed it self and of you want to put light in the back your gana need to cut the LEDs and buy a connector to make the 90 degree turn or sodore your own wires and heat shrink it ( that's what I did)
