Default installed power windows....., now problem.

my question is, what can i use to cover the holes in the doors where the cranks used to be that wont look like crap?

go to your local radio shop that sells spal ..the kits come with 4 or 5 different covers and they may have spares

I'm guessing he used stock parts for his conversion??? Even the "el-cheapo" kits provide plastic blockoff plates for the window crank holes.

There are always door panels for sale on Ebay motors; I've seel them with the stock window switches and all...you'd just have to keep looking until your interior color comes up

i used this kit here http://www.stylintrucks.com/parts.as...tfamilyid=4987, it was a pain to put in, but in the end worth it. gonna go to the junk yard this weekend to try to find the door panels, maybe i'll get lucky.

hmm... i was wondering with this kit can you leave the cranks still on there?? incase the pwr motor fails?

wow thats alot you can get a kit almost identical for 180 plus switches, and i know a place to get the things to cover the holes, ill provide some links....

Thanks for the input guys, got the caps on order will be here soon! and to answer bobkyle2, you can't, i thought about that too. but i did keep a hold of the old crank system just in case!

Whatever you do, do not use the autoloc kit. I installed mine and it barely lifts the windows. I called autoloc and they told me there kits are not designed for American cars, because American vehicles have heavier windows.
