Nice Sweater

I have a 04 Lariat and when every I hit a bumpe of any kind the roog rattles. I first thought it was the back seat but some to relize it is coming from the roof area. I have a sunroof and was wondering if that could have something to do with it. But it isn't the glass because the rattling happens when the sunroof is closed and open. Any ideas of what this is and maybe how to fix it. Thanks

i remember seeing a thread on this 04-08 forum about the sunroof rattling and people taking foam blocks and sticking them between the headliner and sunroof towards the back of the truck. try searching around here and see if anythings turns up but i do remember there being a thread about it and how to fix it. hope this helps

do you have sunglasses in your holder...or do you have one of those with a sunroof ?? When my sunglasses get flipped sideways they rattle and check the back of your rear view mirror the sensor comes loose sometimes.

I have the same issue. I have noticed my rattle coming from the head liner around the interior light. I have not yet fixed this issue as I am not sure if the sag is normal or if I need to fix the head liner to the roof itself. Let's figure it out!

I have a sunroof in mine and it is rattling too but mine is from the sliding cover on that covers the sunroof. If I hold my hand on it when I hit a bump it doesn't rattle. That goes for when it's closed and open

I have a 2005 with a sunroof Had the same rattle. I put a foam block behind the dome light. no sound now.

You mean closest to the window, back? How thick was the foam?

I removed my dome light and cut it so that it just barley pushed down on the head liner. I placed it between the sun roof and the dome light. Been like that for a year. The foam was packing from a Christmas present.
